OpenNI Makes First Trip to Siggraph

With more than 1 million downloads of OpenNI’s SDK, we’re not stopping ‘til everyone has a chance to see why OpenNI is the true standard framework in 3D Sensing. So that means we’re hitting the road!

Visit us at SIGGRAPH 2013, the 40th International Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Technologies, at the Anaheim Convention Center.

And we never ride alone, so take a gander at who’s coming along:

Delicode- Motion-based software for use in the performing arts industry. Delicode will demonstrate its recently launched Z Vector depth video and visualization software based on OpenNI SDK and powered by PrimeSense Carmine™ 3D sensor. Need an example of their recent work? Try this:

VanGogh Imaging- 3D embedded vision technology for mobile applications, is presenting its Starry Night, Real-Time 3D Object Identification & Analysis Software. Using the PrimeSense Carmine 3D Sensor, Starry Night identifies objects in a real-world setting and determines their location, orientation and measurements. VanGogh Imaging brings human gesture and object recognition to a host of platforms ranging from smartphones to consumer electronics.

And of course we’ll have some PrimeSense tech too: next generation embedded 3D sensor Capri, powering 3D sensing applications on a Nexus tablet – from augmented reality to 3D scanning and a reveal of a brand new cool app, alongside the PrimeSense NiTE™, the most advanced and robust 3D computer vision middleware for full body interaction.
